Papes is the independent publishing house of artist edition rolling papers. Founded by Peter Knirsch and Paul Wieland in 2024. Made in the EU, Papes is based in Berlin Mitte at Villa Kunterbunt, with a remote European team. Each issue consists of three booklets containing thirty-six slim, full-length rolling papers and tips, all concealed within a magazine cache. The booklets are printed with a commissioned artwork by each one of the three featured artists. Every issue is accompanied by offline curated events and online digital content.
